Detailing Questions
What if there is bad or ugly weather?
For mobile jobs, weather plays a big role on when and where we can work. If the weather is bad, we’ll just reschedule your appointment (no other deposit is needed). For shop based & garage based services, since we can still work regardless of weather, we can still get the job done (unless it’s really really really bad weather).
Will my Vehicle Smell like chemicals when you are done cleaning it?
Absolutely not. We do not use harsh chemicals and there will be zero trace of any smell other than your clean car. Till this day, we’ve never had a customer mention anything about a chemical smell.
How long does it take to clean my interior?
It depends on the size and condition of the vehicle. Most Vehicles can take anywhere between 2.5 to 4.5 hours. Once we see the condition of the vehicle, we can give you a more accurate time range.
What’s your cleaning process?
We use a variety of brushes, cleaners, and machines to thoroughly clean your interior. How we clean an interior is primarily based around the condition and type of material. Sometimes it just needs a quick cleaning with a brush, other times, it needs the steamer and extractor.
We have experience cleaning many interiors by now and have proven methods to tackle a variety of conditions. So you are in good hands!
How long does it take for the seats to dry after a shampoo?
When it’s relatively warm outside, by the time we’re done with the interior, the carpets and seats should be 85% dry. It’ll take another hour for them to be completely dry. If it’s cold outside, it takes much longer to dry as the water doesn’t escape as easily from the fabrics. With that being said, we never oversaturate your fabric. You’re not going to see puddles of water or anything of the sort.
Additionally, we use a specific upholstery tool designed to not oversaturate the surface with water. This makes the drying time much faster.
Are you able to remove 100% of every stain?
We’re 100% confident in our skills and knowledge to get your interior cleaned to the best condition possible. However, some stains maybe far too gone for us to completely remove. Regardless, we’ll do everything we can to make it look its best. If we can’t remove it, we’ll at least make it look significantly better.
Do you do upholstery Repair?
At this time (we are still leaning this skillset) we do not repair any upholstery like torn leather or sagging headliners. We strictly clean, detail, and offer replacement options when it comes to interiors.
Do you remove seats to clean a vehicle?
With the tools, products, and knowledge we have, we’re able to reach a lot of areas in the interior without having to remove the seats. However in some instances and for some messes it is necessary to remove the seat. If this is the case for your vehicle we will get pre approval from the owner to remove the seats to do necessary cleaning at an added cost.
We have a degree in automotive technology and removing seats is not an issue for our skillset.
Do you do wheels off rim and tire cleaning?
Absolutely, With our skillset in Mechanical and Automotive Technology we have no issues removing wheels to clean the inside face /sidewall of your tires and inside wheel barrels and the back of spokes for an added cost.
Can you remove odor from my vehicle?
Cleaning an interior to make it look better is different than removing an odor from the vehicle. We can definitely remove the odor, but it takes additional steps before we get to the odor removal part of it. We first have to thoroughly clean the interior, then we’ll use a fogger or Ozone machine to eliminate the smell.
